The local community

As far as possible, we are keen to take note of local needs and priorities, and that's the reason for this consultation.

  We are keen to preserve the design of the current ‘Art Deco’ iconic frontage. This will be rebuilt to appear as it does today and will keep the iconic and much loved vista onto Beach Street.

  We will be building a new cinema containing 49 seats, bringing back this use to Deal for the first time since 1963.

  We are retaining the views towards the Timeball Tower and the open space in front of the Tower will not only be retained, but given back life with café for public use and outdoor seating area.

  The economic viability of the development means that a mixed use project is the way forward. We are providing nine new townhouses and three apartments.
